Howdy all. I'm getting into scratchbuilding some vehicles, and am looking for a cheap supplier of Plastruct or Evergreen styrene online. This stuff isn't cheap, and all the moneytrees in my neighborhood are in other peoples yards. Anyone got a suggesstion, maybe someone they have done business with in the past?

I think you might be SoL.... Short of purchasing directly from Plastruct/Evergreen...

Try a search on eBay... I've found a few results that way. Just triple check everything (ie measurements, textures, etc) before you get it since there are a lot of variables.

I have, and like them quite a bit.

I especially like the thumbnail pics of all the various plasticard stuff on sale.

Thanks for that post Alpharius. I was wondering the same thing that Grizgrin was wondering. The "FOR SALE" sign thingthat I am using is cool and cheap but I have been looking for a good spot to get different types of beams and tubes and such and I think your link will do the trick. I do not think there is a all these places that make this stuff think there stuff is lined with gold or something.

The "FOR SALE" sign is not a really bad thing. I get 2 different thicknesses at my local mega lumber company and comparing the prices to the stuff you order on line I am making out pretty good. The thicker piece I buy is approx 2.5' X 1.5' and is around $8. The stuff I see on the net is averaging around $5-$6 for a 6" X 12" piece. The only draw back is my models have a red and white crazy look till they get painted. But as for the poles, tubes and beams and such I have had no luck finding a cheap alt.

Not cheap perhaps, but very, very reliable and reputable.
