Devilfish, SMS, Multitracker, Targetting Array
Shas'el, Plasma Rifle, Missile Pod, Multitracker, Stim Injector, 2x Shield Drones
3 x Crisis Suit, Plasma, Missile, Multi, Team Leader, 2x Shield Drone
20 x Kroot

1 squad of FCW's in the pathfinder transport obviously

some people might question mult trackers on broadsides, but it really ups their killcount vs things charging your firebase

Played this against noise marine heavy dual lash today and got him to concede by the bottom of turn 3

Thoughts?

I think I saw a list like this a few months back, and I have to admit, it looks like the best way to play a tau gunline you could run. are you planning to outflank with those kroot?

How do you deal with orks?

The SMS on the boadsides put out impressive firepower against Hordes (12 shots per unit that ignore cover), and he does have 36 pulse rifles to shoot, that can also ignore cover after the pthfinders paint something. I'm not sure if its really enough to stop some of the competitive ork lists and I'm pretty much positive that things like Nob Bikes will overwhelm it easily.

I wish the Broadside team leaders had target locks so you could spread the railguns around a bit more against mech armies and the like. I think one unit of Broadsides could benefit from having advanced stabilization so a couple of your railguns can be a little bit mobile.

I would also probably drop 2 units of fire warriors to take as many kroot as possible with the points. I like units of 10 kroot with 10 hounds, and its only 130pts for the whole unit.

I have just recently played using a Tau gun line except i ran 9 broadsides a.s.s and s.m.s i also ran 6 squads of 10 fire warriors 6 stealth suits with a fusion blaster a shas'o with air burstin frag launcher and then i also had an etheral
i went 2-2-1 i think your list is good though ,very alot more versatile then mine good luck!

I dunno I Haven't played bikers with this list but was thinking it was the only real tau hope for taking them on, the pathfinders remove any cover save the bikers get then the railguns go about insta gibbing bikers, no armor save no FNP, go to the dead pile go directly to the dead pile do not pass go do not use faggy wound allocation magic
