Now I have posted a pic of this guy in another thread, but I wanted to get him some more exposure, because I really like how he came out. I actually had an idea for a necron army made of "looted" necrons controlled by grotz a couple of months ago. Then Christmas came, and I got more orks that I knew what to do with (stupid green tide box set), and I decided starting new armies while I had so much left to paint was silly, so this one conversion is all that came out of the idea, but it may make a resurgence in the future.

Nice c(r )oncept

Though imo he needs more Necron parts. Have you considered using some of the green weapon bits

I was thinking that too, maybe extend the gubbins on the Kustom Force Field.

Wow, I just advised someone to take a razor saw to a really nice model.

Hmmmmm

Maybe I should get some sleep.

Thin your paints! That red is far too thick. Aside from that, the Necron parts look a bit deformed. I think it needs some cleaning up and repainting.

People are like dice, a certain Frenchman said that. You throw yourself in the direction of your own choosing. People are free because they can do that. Everyone's circumstances are different, but no matter how small the choice, at the very least, you can throw yourself. It's not chance or fate. It's the choice you made.

@ Anung Un Rama & MrGiggles; I tend to have that problem, I favor a more spartan aesthetic to my conversions, and unfortunately that is not the way of orks. If i can get my hands on some necron bitz (the one army I have never bought anything for) I may add some, but for now this is how it stays.

@ Cheese; The red is not really thick, it ties into your second comment. The necron bitz are hand sculpted, and I was going for a deformed look. If a Mek saw a necron and tried to make armor that mimicked it, what do you think it would look like? I thank you for the constructive criticism, but I am going to disagree with you.
