Autarch and Farseer join the Banshees basically acting where they need to for eliminating high priority targets and/or strong assault teams that can cause trouble for the avengers/scoring units. Prisms can provide the anti armor or anti horde as needed, along with the WS EMLs for light vehicles. I also think it's pretty neat for an Eldar list to be able to throw down a decent amount of pie (delicious?).

I expect to be playing a bit of everything since it would be my tournament list, meaning lots of Chaos and Ork. Haven't used Fire Prisms much because I favored the Falcon in the previous edition, though with the new edition I think Prisms are the way to go. I like the Autarch for flavor and reserves rolls, but I am unsure how needed he is, though he allows me to start off the table if needed.

Could use some constructive criticism.

i'd drop the runes of witnessing and all the spirit stones on all the vehicles as well as war shout on the banshee exarch. then you could fill out the avenger squads and add exarchs with bladestorm.

What do you think of the Autarch?

The Autarch is not a must-have, unless you plan to keep the army in reserve.
I'd drop the runes of witnesses and some of the Fire Prisms' upgrades since you have three of them. Three naked Prisms and dropping the Autarch would give you room to add another squad in a Serpent, say 10 Storm Guardians with 2 flamers.

triple Prism seems brutal at 1500pts, I like it a lot. I'd echo what Wustenfex suggested, you may not need all those upgrades on the Prisms since you have 3 of them.

I also don't really think you need the Autarch at all, and you can probably spend the points better.

If I added another Wave Serpent I would want to put Fire Dragons in it or another squad of DAs. Though I don't know if I need any more anti tank, but Dragons are great against targets like terminators or other super heavy infantry so who knows. Currently I am only planning on three WS, but im not against the idea of getting more. I have some other units, Swooping Hawks, Rangers/Pathfinders, Falcon, and some GDs. I could drop the Autarch for a small Warlock team also.

Spirit Stones are really good for mechdar, because if you get stunned, (which will be alot) you can still use the transport to motor out of the way, contest things, or tank shock.

Made an edit to the FPs on the thinking that by upgrading the TW Shruiken Catapults to the Cannon, it will save my Prism if it gets hit on a Weapon Destroyed (S6) result and I can drop the cannon instead of the prism? All it cost me was a few DAs which I didn't have much of anyway.

You don't need to "preserve" the cannon on the prism, since you have three of them. Also, I think the opponent gets to choose what weapon is destroyed, so that's moot.

If you lose the prism cannon, then you fly around tankshocking everything.

I like the gunboat diplomacy. DA changes will eat up squads.

Do you think a lot of players will freak when they see so many Prisms? The longer they are trying to take them out means I can focus on dropping anything that can really hurt me. Maybe I am just being paranoid about loosing that awesome prism cannon. The extra 55 points on upgrades per Prism makes them twice as durable if not more than it is stock. The points would probably go to me beefing up my DAs otherwise.

I guess it all depends if opponents get to choose which weapon. I know in the previous edition you got to pick the weapon your own tank lost, provided it was 5S or more? If anyone could shed some light on this for me I would really appreciate it.

Would definitely strip the prisms down naked, you have 3 of them plus the serpents so there are a LOT of tanks for your opponent to worry about. The points could be used a few ways:

I would love the idea of dropping the autarch, stripping the prisms and then running a dragon squad in a serpent.

Might try keeping the autarch and just adding in a small squad of pathfinders. Some games they will die to no point, but then there are the games where they will be the winning difference.

Doesnt look like you have any bikes, but if you could pick up a few you would have the points for two small squads. They wouldnt actually do much of anything except run fast and try and stay out of the way. They are more of a distraction than anything else but they are scoring units.

Hawks are beautiful and fun... but they just arent competitive now.

Why does my eldar army run three fire prisms? Because the rules wont let me use four in (regular 40k).

I have four jetbikes, one of which has a cannon. I really wished Hawks has a little more punch, they are probably one of the most beautiful models in all of 40K.
