What would be a good colour scheme for a space mairne army?

Does your army have a story, a theme?

Something to go on would help.

If you include the picture in the post, people will be more willing to reply.
Now you ask a question, expecting an answer and laying all effort at our (the viewer/answerer) feet.
Most people dislike that.

About colour, you should really decide for yourself, what you like to have on your models.
Check the codex for some examples or go over to the B&C for even more examples.

If you have an idea and an example, you can ask people what they like and how to improve.

I prefer dark marines, mine being dark grey with red and metal accents.

If the halved marine is your example, it's fine. A lot of work to paint, but when done well can look good. Just don't forget to highlight, shade and detail.

Checked out your gallery,I guess you are refering to the white and red marine you painted.It is an ok colour scheme,I don't know if it is an already established chapter but it looks good to me.I agree that it is your choice though,and that the best place to look for SM colour schemes is their codex.

A red and white colour scheme would be sons of orar, they're a founding from the Ultramarines.

Color scheme is not bad but I recomend doing a better job removing the mold lines.

Can't see how you've got mould lines, seeing as if you've got mould lines, its a fake model lol

it would depend on your painting style. I tend to drybrush my main army so i went for a naturalish green look, when taking more effort i whent with a grey/white and green look (sons of horus), cream if i'm in a 'wash' mood and something more extravagant if i feeling like painting something really well for a comp or something. On the whole i tend to go for a more subdued natural look with mine rather than a bright garish look.

I also try to include green on almost every model I paint somewhere, even if it's a bit of staic grass or a lens, don't know why but it doesn't seem finished without. If you're doing red/white marines GREEN EYES!!!!!!!!!

White Scars are a good army, so long as you've got a bike army. That is the whole point of White Scars is to get a bike army. Also, if you take a White Scars bike army, avoid Khan, he's too expensive

Right now, I'm thinking Scab red highlighted with blood red, with details in white.
Im definately doing Green eyes (I do them better than other colours).
I am going to have a jumppack based army, which I was going to call the Novamarines untill I found that they already existed.
My chapter symbol will be an 'n' which looks like a c on its side...
