Damn - invited to intoduce ones self - always difficult - so warhammer history

warhammer story.....
borrowed 1st edition WHFB - thought this looks interesting
bought 2nd edition, a few 'budget' blisters of random figures
then 3rd edition took hold and i learnt how to paint - and then big games across a table tennis table (long ways) and the middle being a river. long = 3 or 4 days
won RT 40k in a WD comp (hooray, never won anything before or since)
played a bit and bought all the Eldar aspects when they came out.
then stopped

for about 10 years (some historical games and so on)

then started teaching and met a whole new load of kids who wanted to play

so did

then had kids

now training junior gamer - age 7, uses smurfs, but beats me occasionaly
