I saw this video and was wondering if its actual way to play guitar without the other hand on the hole area ,
what would it be called? and why?

Sure, it's called 2-hand tapping.

Normally done on electrics though.

If you tune a guitar to E flat you can play with one hand. There was a guy back in the 60s that could work some magick that way. He played at the original Woodstock.

Indiana

the female guitarist/singer Kaki King uses tapping almost exclusive for a very percussive style of playing. The band Maps & Atlases is the best example I've ever seen of technical tapping though.
