Sorry about this guys but its been on my mind
some tyranid fluff states that tyranids eat the genes of there enemys therefore learns knowledges and develops am i right?
so why have the nids learned not yet to speak?
I mean it would most likely ruin nids letting them speak human tongue but it baffles me!

Genestealers in genestealer cults do have an ability to speak. But generaly if they feal the need to talk with their food, they do so telepathicly.

They dont learn from their food, they put everything into a digestion pit and splice the genes into new forms of tyranid. however what you seem to be talking about is more like the kroot
