Should I leave work early, or hang on until after rush hour and hope things are not as bad as they may be?
Third option, take a room in a cheap hotel and have a night on the town. The office is normally pretty quiet on a strike day so I could get a lot done.

With the addition of that secretary.
You know which one.
there's always one.
The poor man really has a stake in the country. The rich man hasn't; he can go away to New Guinea in a yacht. The poor have sometimes objected to being governed badly; the rich have always objected to being governed at all
We love our superheroes because they refuse to give up on us. We can analyze them out of existence, kill them, ban them, mock them, and still they return, patiently reminding us of who we are and what we wish we could be.

Well, at Mr. Kilkrazy's age you're just grateful anyway...
This is why we have both alcohol and a whole variety of sexual positions.
Or masks...but you go there then it's a whole new level of weirdness.

Tube Steak Boogie and Pearl Necklace... Two great songs! I was saw ZZ Top back during one of their big tours. Sam Haggar opened the show (pre Van Halen)... He was still the Red Rocker. Sammy was awesome playing for two hours and then a couple of encores. I was wondering how ZZ Top could top his act but they came out and blew him away. Billy Gibson is by far one of the best guitarists I have ever seen, in fact I would rate him higher than Eddie Van Halen or even Stevie Ray Vaughn.

'It only affects Londoners.' No it doesn't. It only affects people IN London. I don't live in London but it affects me in some tenous link that I cannot explain. Also, I seem to remember hearing somewhere that Gordon Bennett set fire to a roll of cash because it wouldn't fit into his pocket.
