I happen to have a bunch of IG Catachans sitting around, and Ive been thinking of starting a Necromunda gang. My question is, would they be more suited for Goliaths, or Orlocks? I like both for different reasons. But Ive looked at pics of both gangs, and I really cant tell if the Goliaths are alot bigger then catachans or not. Help me!

They can work for either. If you're doing orlocks, I'd make sure to give them the loincloth things to make them look like orlocks and not catachans that got stuck on necromunda. If you do goliaths, I'd mix in chaos marauder bits or something.

Well, anything goes. If doing Goliath it might be neat to give them mohawks, crude weapons and metal piercings the size of barbells as the background keeps reminding us of.

Lol BrookM that was funny. I wont be buying ANYTHING for this as Im just starting it(eventually) so I wont be diverting ANY funds from my Orks. I guess I could use staples for piercings and the like. Plus if I go Goliath I can use autocannons for heavies which is super bad ass lol. BUT with Orlocks, they get to use lasguns which are very reliable and cheap. DECISIONS!

They work better as Orlocks. They don't fit next to Goliaths as well, the only thing in common is ridiculously oversized muscles (but Goliaths are even bigger than Catachans).

The old metal Catachans make perfect Orlocks. The new plastic Catachans are passable too. I just added greenstuff loincloths to them.

Since when did Orlocks have loincloths?

I have a gang sitting here with basically blue jeans and headbands, but not loincloths.

Go Orlock for Goliaths they just aren't big enough.

Yea see thats what I was thinking. I look at old Goliath pics and they just look bigger then catachans. Not a real big deal, so I cant take an autocannon. Not a huge problem. Thanks folks!
