I have a bunch of the old RT-era metal guardians w/ catapults, and I was planning on using them in my upcoming Eldar army. I was hoping to run two 20 man units for swarming/holding objectives. Since I don't have enough to complete 2 squads, I was thinking of mixing in some of the new, anime-style guardians. The question is, should I:

1. Mix them together, with the idea being some of the fallen brethren were replaced by guardians in the new suits
2. Have two totally separate units

Mixing sounds good. Space Marines do it after all.

The only downside is the Anime-guardians have backpacks. What they got in them sacks?

Do the packs count as torso? Hmm... You shoot the legs and the torso, so you may want to consider that.
