Kaka did play pretty horribly. The free kick by Alves was awful nice though. That was one of the sloppiest games I've seen in a long time. Brazil will be much more organized against the US I think.
Australia is through to the world cup without losing a game, and has been for 2 weeks... is anyone else's side through yet?

The US is. I don't think there's a way we can be out. Costa Rica is in for sure also. I haven't paid attention to anyone else. Who else was in Australia's group for qualifying?
That Alves kick was absolutely beautiful. It has maybe a foot between it and the top bar and no extra space on the side.
Still though, I have to wonder what the manager was thinking waiting that long to put someone else in, especially since Lucio was probably even worse than Kaka.
Just looking through the groups on the FIFA site. Netherlands sure had it tough. With such giants as Scotland and Macedonia in their group.
Let's hope Sweden can stick it out and qualify. The loss to the cursed Danes has me a bit worried.

Oh yes, the mighty Qatar. How could I ever forget their fine footie heritage. I remember on Fifa 94 or 95 for sega genesis that Qatar was the worst team in the game.

Clearly this week is all about a potential impending sign of the Apocalypse, namely Andy Murray, a Scotsman, with a chance at winning Wimbledon.
This is unheard of. The average Scot, let alone Brit, has a little know string of mitochondrial DNA which forces them to be gak at Tennis. So far beyond this being a potentially great year for Wimbledon, it might also be heralding a new era in human evolution!

People are like dice, a certain Frenchman said that. You throw yourself in the direction of your own choosing. People are free because they can do that. Everyone's circumstances are different, but no matter how small the choice, at the very least, you can throw yourself. It's not chance or fate. It's the choice you made.
