Subject: Quick Green Stuff question - Time is of the essence! :)

Hey guys, I got a quick green stuff question, that's kind of pertinent since my fresh green stuff is curing as we speak!
I used GS to help strengthen a bond with superglue, and fill a gap at the same time. Of course there is a little excess sticking out of the gap. My question is, should I trim this excess off immediately, or wait for the GS to cure and then sand it down/trim it off?
Thanks a lot homies!

Hi
I'd say leave it until it's at least partially cured.
You don't want to upset the superglue bond by screwing around with it, and it will be easy enough to carve off tomorrow with a scalpel.

QFT
if its in an easy to reach place just leave it and shave it down later, if its inside a crevase then work at it now.

THE HORUS HERESY: Emprah: Hours, go reconquer the galaxy so there can be a new golden age. Horus: But I should be Emprah, bawwwwww! Emprah: Magnus, stop it with the sorcery. Magnus: But I know what's best, bawwwwww! Emprah: Horus, tell Russ to bring Magnus to me because I said so. Horus: Emprah wants you to kill Magnus because he said so. Russ: Fine. Emprah's always right. Plus Ole Red has already been denounced as a traitor and I never liked him anyway. Russ: You're about to die, cyclops! Magnus: O noes! Tzeentch, I choose you! Bawwwww! Russ: Ah well. Now to go kill Horus. Russ: Rowboat, how have you not been doing anything? Guilliman: . . . I've been writing a book. Russ: Sigh. Let's go. Guilliman: And I fought the Word Bearers! Horus: Oh shi--Spess Puppies a'comin? Abbadon: And the Ultramarines, sir. Horus: Who? Anyway, this looks bad. *enter Sanguinis* What are you doing here? Come to join me? Sanguinius: *throws self on Horus's power claws* Alas, I am undone! When you play Castlevania, remember me! *enter Emprah* Emprah: Horus! So my favorite son killed my favorite daughter! Horus: What about the Lion? Emprah: Never liked her. Horus: No one does. Now prepare to die! *mortally wounds Emprah*Emprah: Au contraire, you dick. *kills Horus* Dorn: Okay, now I just plug this into this and . . . okay, it works! Emprah? Hellooooo? Jonson: I did nothing! Guilliman: I did more nothing that you! Jonson: Nuh-uh. I was the most worthless! Guilliman: Have you read my book? Dorn: No one likes that book. Khan: C'mon guys. It's not that bad. Dorn: I guess not. Russ: You all suck. Ima go bring the Emprah back to life.

Awesome. Thanks a lot for the quick response, guys!
Luckily it is in a very easy to reach place, so trimming it down tomorrow shouldn't be a big deal at all.

Here's another related question - I put some of the leftover green stuff in the freezer to keep it from curing. How long will it last in the freezer before I can't use it anymore?

It largely depends on the mix of your putty (as normal, more blue will shorten the time you can leave it, more yellow will increase the time) and the temperature of your freezer... I've left GS in the freezer for about 36 hours and still had it relatively pliable - not particularly usable for sculpting, but ok for bulking out armatures or using on bases. I'd say probably around 12 hours is the longest I'd leave it and still expect to be able to do useful work with it.
Hope that helps
