The list price for this set when it first appeared a few years ago on DVD was $200, warehouse stores sold it for $100 back then, and that was without the bonus discs. $39.98 is an absolute steal. If you know anyone interested in this, please share.

Now that is good news.

I have all four seasons and I must say that the last season is some of the most horrible gak I've seen in ages. It was boring, pointless and not even funny in the slightest. The first three seasons are worth it though.

By series 4 the hatred was sinking in fast, Terry Jones and John Cleese were ready to murder each other and the rest of the gang were looking elsewhere or falling into one of the two camps.

Success bred arrogance bred jaded and failing humour.

I do believe John had left by then. In the fourth season he had a small cameo in the horrible city name sketch but that was it.

You know I really like "The Holy Grail", but it seems that the TV show just doesn't do it for me. I can take sillyness to an extent, but most of that show is just too much sillynes for even me.
