Hey guys I was looking over the WH codex entry of the Callidus assassin. Upon close perusal I noticed that her neural shredder has rules that are no longer valid. I wanted to know if this has been FAQed.

It says that the Neural shredder rolls a D3 on the glancing hits table when hitting a vehicle. Since there is no longer a glancing hits table does this in fact mean that it cannot do anything to a vehicle??

I assume this is correct and can no longer damage them, but I can hope otherwise.

In the FAQ, it advises rolling on the vehicle damage table as normal while applying a -4 to the roll. This nets the same result as it did in the previous editions.

don't expect that to happen in tourney though. unless it gets errated, it'll have no effect.

if they don't directly address this in the faq (and they should), i'd say you roll d3 and then subract 2 for glancing. basically, the vehicle and occupants can't shoot next turn since that's the only possible result using my line of reasoning. it's not a rule that translated well into 5th edition.

Tournies kind of use the FAQ's you know...

Yeah, it's in the WH FAQ, just as Jeffersonian posted. And most tourneys will use the FAQs just to avoid issues.

wouldnt it be -1, as it is a glancing hit with Ap1?

The Shredder rolls a D3 on the Glancing Hits Table. The FAQ states that, because there is no Glancing Hits Table anymore (and as such, RaW, should have no effect) to instead roll a D6 on the vehicle Damage Chart at -4
