My name is Brandon, I've been a fan of 40k for a few years. A buddy of mine got me into tabletop not to long ago, I haven't played any games yet. I'm just working on getting a army together and painted, I'm leaning towards IG right now. I look forward to everyones comments.

IG is the way to go, i just got back into guardsmen after a couple months of Tyranids, after dealing with all those models i can't get enough tank. i run 4-6 chimeras and 2-4 leman russ. along with armored sentinels if i have the points

IG is a strange army. It can lose a lot of troops with out being sent reeling back.I know because when I played my buddy with chaos.I had to deepstrike 4 squads of termies.Lasted for 3 turnes befor dying. Did giee me achance to destroy leman russes.  Oh and welcome!
