We had 16 people show up at out ard boyz event in Bakersfield California. I saw chaos marines x 3. Space marines x6. Tyranids x2. Eldar x1. IG x1. Inquisition x1. Orks x1
I went with Blood Angels All Jump Pack and here is my list.

First Match: Chaos Space Marines

I was able to charge on turn two. One squad of vets kept the two daemon princes occupied for the 3 turns that we played. Princes kept whiffing and killing two at a time.
I killed one prince with melta fire, Berserker Squad died to death company and lemartes. Dante charged plagues. Assault squads multicharged plagues and rhinos. Some Assault squads went after the two vindis. At the end I won with minor victory. 12 kill points to 4. I was too busy fighting I didn’t get any objectives. We only played three turns. I had Lemartes, death company, 1 vet assault squad, 1 attack bike, 3 assault squads. He had Lash Prince, Greater daemon, 1x Plague Marine Squad, Oblits,

Second Match: Space Marines

I think that’s it.

I won with a minor victory. I had 2x assault squad, attack bikes, he had dreadnought, 2x land raiders, razorback. I also got a turn two charge. He had a lot of shooting but once I charged with everything at once he had no where to shoot. Powerfists are necessary in this army with so few meltas.

Third Match: Chaos Space Marines

I killed Chaos Lord, Thousand sons and rhino, berserker squad, marine squad, bike squad, he killed 2x assault squads, 2x veteran squads. None got objectives. Again I didn’t get time to move and reach them. Won minor victory.

I ended in third place with three minor victories and was the only one out of the group who went all three rounds without a loss. First Place went to Space Marines. He went one minor loss, two massacres. He lost in the first round. Well I feel like using the same list for the semis but remembering from going last year it was tough so I don’t know how ill do. I am taking a way different list this year compare to last and this list is way better. Well see how I do.
I will be playing at Game Empire in Pasadena for the Semis.

Go Blood Angels. I always seem to miss events at the Games Empire.

If you got turn 2 assault how did you only get 3 turns in? Just curious

Slow ass opponent? lol ya with those armies howd you get such short games. And good job with the Blood angels but you might need to change up for next round it'll get ruff nice job though you gotta be pretty good to win with blood angels that much.

for how i only got three turns: I deploy up as much as i can and then move 12 inches plus run thats turn 1. i then move 12 inches and multi charge what i can which killed many things. thats turn two. i then move and multicharge. i spend most of the time moving and being in assault. Its just like horde orks it takes so freaking long. The space marine player who won had assault termies with preds, bike captain and bike squad, tacticals in rhinos, and lots of mish mash. He got a loss and then two easy massacres so that gave him the win. Hes also going with me to Game Empire.
