Hello all,

I'm finally getting close to finishing my two squads of fire warriors. Feels good to be done with something. I've been expirementing with different washes (will post pics later when I'm home) and after I'm done with that, I'd like to seal the miniatures with future floor wax to ensure they stay free from any tabletop damage. Has anyone had any expirence with this? I've read in the past of it being applied via airbrush mixxed in with a Tamiya flat paint (clear, I think, I have the bottle at home) so it isn't so shiny. I can't wait to break out the airbrush again and see how it goes.

You mean future floor finish?

It works great as a sealer and wash akin to "dipping," but is advantageous in that you can paint it on and use any ink instead of brown. I've used it witrh purple for my demonettes and black for regular inking/sealing. Its quite strong. The protection is quite good.

You don't need to spray it. You can just paint it on with a brush (not sure what it would do to a sprayer).

Note the minis come out pretty shiny however. You might give a light spray with a nongloss sealer after fully dry to take that off.

Hmmm something is going on here.....Oh.... it seems there is some dispute over video taping of some sort......Frazz is really upset now..........wait a minute......whats he go there.......is it? Can it be?....Frazz has just unleashed his hidden weiner dog from his mini bag, while quoting shakespeares "Let slip the dogs the war!!" GG

Hmmm, might be floor finish. I found a link that's pretty simliar to what I read a long time ago.

I was going to mix it with a flat base, Tamiya X-21 Flat base is what I was trying to remember so I could use it in my airbrush, not sure if I'd need to thin this mix as well. Was going to use the airbrush since I'd be quicker for me than brushing it on. Did you just brush yours on out of the bottle or did you thin it first?
