Well there is a new Castlevania due out in 2010, not sure how many people here play the game, I myself have only played a couple of the hand held ones and one on the PS2 that wasn't that good.

Well its time for a new console version, this one called Castlevania Lords of Shadow, staring Patrick Stewart and Robert Carlyle. It also seems to have Hideo Kojima and his Kojima Production team attached to it meaning that by the end of the game you will have learned very little about the actual plot, but quite alot about the meme theory, unless he chooses to make the games story like he made MGS1 and 3 where you learn somethings. From what the linked video will show it seems like combat will be similar to that of the God of War and Star Wars The Force Unleashed.

I'm sceptical. While it looks like it'll have kick-ass combat, that's not what Castlevania about, at least to me. It's more about exploration and I hope they don't forget that while trying to make it look like God of War.
