The army list thus far:

HQ:
Shas'el
-Burst cannon
-AFP
-Multi Tracker
-HW Drone Controller
-Shield Drone x2

Troops:

Fire Warrior Team
-12 warriors
-Devilfish
-Disruption Pod

Fire Warrior Team
-12 warriors

Elites:

Stealth Team
-3 Stealth suits

XV8 Crisis Team
-Shas'ui
-Team Leader
-Fusion Blaster
-Missile Pod
-Target Array
-HW Multi Tracker
-Shas'ui
-Fusion Blaster
-Missile Pod
-Multi Tracker

The total thus far is 651. I'm having a hard time deciding what to finish the list off with.
My options, in terms of what I have purchased, include a hammerhead (which would require major point shifting, and which I shouldn't need to do, since my crisis team is built for tank killing), a kroot squad, a gun drone squad, or another devilfish.

Any suggestions are GREATLY appreciated

Put the other squad of firewarriors in a Devilfish methinks. This is drawing off my limited I-played-Tau-so-so-a-few-years-ago knowledge, though.

Without buying anything more that's what I'd go with. Otherwise you could get some crisis suits, perhaps replace the stealth suits (and use your last hundred points) with a crisis suit/s.

Rico.

A Broadside would be a good unit to add maybe a shas'vre with plasmas and a targeting array.

If you walk a mile in another mans shoes you will be a mile away from him and you will have his shoes.

With the Crisis' ability to JSJ, and their Fusion Blasters, I believe he has the anti-tank front down. 1500 points Broadsides are a no-brainer, but with the limited amount of armor he'll be facing in a 1k point game as compared to a 1.5k point game, the Crisis suits should be able to handle tanks.

If it's possible, though, I think you'd be making a good investment by getting more Crisis suits. Seriously, the things are invaluable. Magnetize them. Strategy-wise, two squads of two (minus the stealth suits) can handle just about anything your opponent could throw at you. JSJ is your friend. The 12 FW on foot can hold objectives.

Thanks for the advice all. This list is for a small tournament that I'm doing with a few friends. I don't have time to buy/build anything for what we're doing, but I'm sure that I will invest in some broadsides and definitely more crisis suits for future army lists of similar and greater size.

For now, I'll go with adding another devilfish, which will be 85 points, and I'll figure out what other upgrades I can throw in.

Thanks again.
