This week we looked into the current shipping situation and where that leaves our friends in Europe. As of this report, we do not have an update as to where the remaining items are for European and UK fulfillment. We are working to get more information for our next, regularly scheduled update that will be coming next week. We apologize for the delay and hope to have some good news for you soon.
Still is such a large unknown for months now is just worrying.
I suspect that a lot of what is happening in the world is making it all more complex rapidly.
With books, I find a lot of the stores here continue to under order as well. One I talk too just wasn’t prepared for how big a boost it’s got the last year. And even items they have had sitting for years before hand have now sold out rapidly.
Probably a lot of trying to expand slowly and seeing that all taken up by demand.
There is more YouTube presence I think as well, so it does seem to be growing so I wonder if people are even watching for restocking much more as well.
At least it’s not Pokemon cards!
Lets not forget, for the longest time Battletech was basically big in name, but tiny in market in the model world. Barring a few niche areas it was basically on life support.
The recent boxed sets, plastic and so forth have catapulted it from superniche to mainstream (within scifi wargaming) in a very short span of time. So I can well see local stores under-estimating demand because its just something that never really existed as demand before and now suddenly everyone is wanting to have a go. Plus throw on your caution that it could be a flashfire that dies fast and stores really cannot afford to hold stock for long*
*heck we've seen stores sell GW brand products (AoS launch sets) at wholesale price just to free up cash for faster selling inventory and GW products typically sell at a very healthy rate for the most part.

Will be keeping an eye out for Draconis Reach, Aces and the Leopard myself.
Curious to see how the Abominations will turn out, they might see use in a future scenario or two much like the job Ace Darwin did in that four-parter, only our crew would be hired for a monster movie.
