Okay, so i just recently spray painted all my units Skull White. And my color scheme is All White with Badab Black in all the little cracks etc. (Especially the Fire Dragons). So i need help and tips on how to get it to stay. The Manager at my FLGS told me to spread Badab Black All over my units and touch up with white. BUT, whenever i do it my Units turn all grey then its impossible to touch up and stuff. Any ideas?

All Types of Commisions available. PM me for more details.

Just paint the wash in areas where you want it to go, which will decrease all the clean up from the wash.

Forever alone

Or you could, you know, wash the whole thing and paint over the raised parts. The grey will be light enough so that it doesn't show through the white.

People are like dice, a certain Frenchman said that. You throw yourself in the direction of your own choosing. People are free because they can do that. Everyone's circumstances are different, but no matter how small the choice, at the very least, you can throw yourself. It's not chance or fate. It's the choice you made.

Probably somewhere I shouldn't be

You've picked a very tough colour scheme there. I'd do it the other way around, i.e. basecoat black, then use Adeptus Battlegrey (a foundation paint) to paint (or drybrush if you prefer) the armour plates, and finish off with white. As others have mentioned - the only real way to do what you want with inks is to use a fine brush to 'target' the wash - and this will require several coats, then you'll have to touch up with white anyway.
