I keep seeing a lot of stuff on biker marines, but don't know much about them.

I don't play space marines, so how decent are they?

How many are we talking about here? I hear they have a small model count.

How expensive would you guess this to be? And can other chapters be made out the ravenwing force or are the funny wings on them molded on?

And lastly do you think that black and white would work as a good color scheme?

Four scholars at Oxford were making their way down the street, and happened to see a group of ladies of the evening. “What’s this?” said the first. “A jam of tarts?” “Nay,” said the second, “an essay of Trollope’s.” “Rather, a flourish of strumpets,” advanced the third. “No, gentlemen,” concluded the last. “Here we have an anthology of pros.”

Well they are a very specialized way to play space marines. They are not as effective as nob biker units, mainly due to being more expensive for a 1 wound model than you would expect.

As for a model count... well, consider that it takes a minimum of 415 points to fufill the force-organization requirements of an all-bike force: 1 captain on a bike and two 5-man bike squads. 415 points for 11 models... and you don't even have any special weapons or heavy weapons.

I had about 16 bikes, and it cost me about 8-12 dollars per bike, depending on the source I got them from. That is not even half of a true biker list, either, and it still ran me upwards of 130 bucks. You can get ravenwing sets to cut costs.

Black and white, like black templar style? Could be alright, but probably overdone. It would be simple and fast to paint though, which is a plus.

They are Marines with a 12 inch move phase and twin linked bolters. They are also Toughness 4(5), you can put a Multi-Melta Bike in the squad and two SpecWeps.

Depends on your play style and how effectively you can plan, also the type of force you are fighting.

How many are we talking about here? I hear they have a small model count.

You need 5 bikes to make a troops choice and can add on a Attack Bike to make it 6 models. Also to take them as Troops you need a Captain on a Bike.

The wings are on a couple upgrade sprues stuffed into the box with everything else, so yes you can still make them into another Chapter. Its a good buy if you want an all Bike and Land Speeder army. The Sprues even come with power swords and cloaks so you can make one guy individual enough to be a Captain.

And lastly do you think that black and white would work as a good color scheme?

Only if its a Black and White Space Marine on a Black and White Bike, and ONLY if they want to marry the Chapter Master's daughter.

Seriously though, if you do that expect faceplams and sighs. Maybe a few giggles.

EDIT: Also INB4LOCK
