Need some help , so im going to paint my SM in a yellow colour scheme and want to make the recesses black , what should i do first ? should i use ink black ink then , spray the entire model yellow and redo the black ink and do touch ups with yellow?

matters how good you are at hardlining?? you can layer inyaden darksun over chaos black and in about 2 coats it should be a good colour, but it will take much much more time to bring it a brighter yellow over chaos black, but if you use inyaden darksun and highlight with a 50 mix of inyaden and golder yellow? could have a decent outcome

yellow is always going to be difficult to paint, so id... id personally go for a worn look with the yellow. like what I did for my white scars is had them not a creamy white but a white with a watered down badab black, it looks really good on the tanks especially the dreadnought.
