Great colouring on that dwarf, the basing on the lizardman is smashing and the marines, those swords have a brilliant blending going on.

Very nice.

I think MGS must be the "other me" but across the pond. I swear we have alot of the same opinions on things lately.
Very nicely done man. Maybe a charity auction or something similar would be a cool DAKKA painting challenge.
Anywho, I also really like that 2nd edition Captain. Its hard to make those look good, and you did that very well.

Welcome to Dakka, Kuffeh. I follow your blog, so I was glad to see you post some of your fine work. I'm loving the Dwarf Lord, but I'm wondering when you're going to paint a few more?

Thanks guys, I enjoyed painting most of these (the ultramarine was a pain though). The dwarf is perhaps my favourite, being a long term dwarf player.

the_Armyman - I am working on my dwarf army, got my first unit on the painting table, but having to practice the balance between uni work and painting. I will hopefully be posting pictures in the future.

Very nice work thus far. I really like the lizardman skink chieftan, how much did it fetch at the auction(or has it not been held yet)?

At any rate, very nice work on all of them, keep up the good work.

Thanks. The auction is yet to be held. It was suppose to have been last weekend, but we had a member ask if we could postpone it by a month so he can add his contribution. So, that's the plan. Hopefully by then we'll have about six or so minis to auction off. Last time we did this we managed to raise a total of £181, hoping to beat that this time - if possible.

Really great work. Love the skin tones and the blonde hair, in particular.

Thanks for posting!

Nice work.

A minor nit-pick on the Templars Champion... the scrollwork on the banner doesn't follow the draping of the cloth, which makes it look a little stuck on.

Love the Dwarf though. Nice skin tones. And good work on getting the gold on the Lizardman so smooth, although it could possibly have benefited from a bit of a wash to pick out the detail a little better.

Nice palette on that Dwarf! Really like it.

I also really like that lizard man.

They all look great just those two pop out at me.

Listen, my children, as I pass onto you the truth behind Willy Wonka and his factory. For every wonka bar ever created in existance, Mr. Wonka sacraficed a single Oompa Loompa to the god of chocolate, Hearshys. Then, he drank the blood of the fallen orange men because he fed them a constant supply of sugary chocolate so they all became diabetic and had creamy, sweet-tasting blood that willy could put into each and every Wonka bar. That is the REAL story behind willy wonka's Slaughter House!
