Can someone tell me how many fire points the bastion has? It looks like 4.

One on each side, and possibly one of the roof top depending what stradegem points you, and where you put your defense gun.

4 fire points, one on each side like the above said.
None on the top though, but a stratagem can let you put a cannon up there. I don't think there is anyway to increase the fire points.

So you can have the Heavy Bolters shoot and add to it. Probably best to use either a pie plate or some form of Anti-tank though.

Shields are nice too... those bastions are too squishy...

I didn't state my question properly. I'm referring to the men in the bastion. How many of them can fire out of the bastion on each side? That looks like four as well.

The default for a building firepoint is up to two models may shoot through each firepoint of a building. (page 79 main rulebook)

The planetstrike notation about firepoints on bastions doesn't actually match up to the model. The description just says fire points on three sides, with a door on the fourth. I take this to mean one fire point on each side except the ground level side the door is on, but I have had others argue it can mean multiple fire points on each side. The actual number of firepoints should be agreed on with your opponent is all I can say.

The bit stuck on the side of England. Wales isn't it.

I thought the model matches those rules , if for fire points they mean the bottom level, three slits to fire out of and one door. There are small windows higher up but they must be just for show.

I think they are meant to be just for show, since your not firing two guys out of a tiny vertical slit the same as you would through a large horizontal slit! The couple folks I played Planetstrike with were thinking the verticals were also firepoints, which is why some say it doesn't match up to the model. Just depends what holes you define as firepoints I guess.

This is begging to be taken out of context.

That's what she said.

I got that, I was just subtly correcting the poster before me.

If you really want to fire multiple models, you can always move them up to the roof, but this makes the bastion open-topped.
