I'm going to collect space marines soon but I don't know wat colours I shuold use for my chapter because Im rubbish with colours I NEED ADVICE PLEASE

Okay, here is what you need to do.

Look at your SM codex. Pick a chapter you like, paint you army like that. Simple.

or go online and look for a chapter you like except i know a few. Emperors Sycthes-yellow black
or Crismon fists-dark blue, and red fists,
Crismon Templars-red and white
Raptors- ???????
Red Scorpions- Yellow Black Gray, but problem is they are from forgeworld- personnally recommend this chapter it is rarely played and it has some of the coolest heroes EVER! except my chapter -.-.

Go to the lexicanum and search for SM chapters. There are lots of chapters with a little fluff with no colors ( make your own colors but have a fluff background already set) as well as chaptrs ith set colors but no fluff (the opposite

This is the smart way. It will also tell you fluff (aka background) on the chapter.
THEN if that doesnt work. Goto www.bolterandchainsword.com and use their SM army painter program. It works rather well

Wow that is close to my chapter. One thing to remember it is also the back ground not just the colors, that is what defines a chapter because one thing to keep in mind is this is that space marines vary differently according to each chapter. For example
