Got ya for a second, didn't I?

I have just started watching the old shows, with Rod Serling.

I'm in love.
WHen I was little, I never watched it because the plug for marathons always had that creepy pig faced lady that scared me.

Anyway, who else likes this series?

About to eat your Avatar...

IT ISN'T FAIR! NO, WHY?! Why... why...

Just don't waste your time with the new series... that god awful piece of crap... meh.

The movie is one of my favorite sci-fi horror flicks though, really awesome stories... and a rather haunted set too.

My mom picked up the Compendium, and I'm waiting for the New Year's marathon.

Don't worry, I'd never think of the new one. I have some standards.

How about The Outer Limits?

Anuvver fing - when they do sumfing, they try to make it look like somfink else to confuse everybody. When one of them wants to lord it over the uvvers, 'e says "I'm very speshul so'z you gotta worship me", or "I know summink wot you lot don't know, so yer better lissen good". Da funny fing is, arf of 'em believe it and da over arf don't, so 'e 'as to hit 'em all anyway or run fer it.

Outer limits are way cool.

-"Wait a minute.....who is that Frazz is talking to in the gallery? Hmmm something is going on here.....Oh.... it seems there is some dispute over video taping of some sort......Frazz is really upset now..........wait a minute......whats he go there.......is it? Can it be?....Frazz has just unleashed his hidden weiner dog from his mini bag, while quoting shakespeares "Let slip the dogs the war!!" GG
-"Don't mind Frazzled. He's just Dakka's crazy old dude locked in the attic. He's harmless. Mostly."

I LOVE twilight zone! I've been watching it since i was a wee one. It's too bad we can't clone Rod Sterling or somthing and make new episodes that don't suck.

"I'm talking Tina, and I'm going to kill you!" Death by doll, almost as embarrasing as having your plasma gun blow up in your face.

Happy to hear you have discovered Rod Serlings clasic Twilight Zone series,I've loved it since I was very young ( 7 or 8).
Since your enjoying The Twilight Zone, I'd like to recomend a few other IMO great series, The Outer Limits, as both Orkeo & Frazz mentioned ,is fantastic.
Rod Serling also had another series in the late 60's early 70's called "The Night Gallery" that you may also like,it is similiar to The Twilight Zone and very creepy at times.

"I'll tell you one thing that every good soldier knows! The only thing that counts in the end is power! Naked merciless force!" .-Ursus.

I am both selfish and chaotic. I value self-gratification and control; I want to have things my way, preferably now. At best, I'm entertaining and surprising; at worst, I'm hedonistic and violent.

The episode with the clown, the soldier and all the other people in the dark room was the best thing ever. It literally blew my mind.

My Mom told me about that series, sounds cool.

I had to write an essay on Twilight Zone a few years back, which got me hooked. It was "The Monsters of Maple Street."

Not sure if title is correct, but it ties with the one where the astronaut comes back to earth after eighty years, all old, to find his love has not aged abit for my favorite.
