How do people play with void shields and cover saves? Can a titan that his hanging out with fateweaver (or hiding behind another titan) get a cover save for it's void shields? Does anyone know how Adepticon would handle it?

Well reading Fateweavers entry, it allows the reroll of all armor, invul and cover saves. A void shield is none of those to my knowledge and thus wouldn't get it. If you were somehow able to get 50% coverage on a titan to actually gain a cover save, I suppose then it would be possible.

The only tournament where this would be even remotely possible though is the Gladiator, and I don't think Daemon armies can take any type of Chaos titan. Did they update the IA books to allow Daemon players that selection?

IA: Apocalypse (2008 update) has a Chaos Warhound. IA7 has a Chaos Reaver and a Great Brass Scorpion. GW also has free Apoc Datasheets for a "Slaanesh Subjugator" which is a light/Knight-class Titan (http://www.games-workshop.com/MEDIA_CustomProductCatalog/m1181266_Chaos_Space_Marines_Datasheet_-_Slaanesh_Subjugator.pdf) and a "Banelord of Khorne" which is a Chaos Warlord (http://www.games-workshop.com/MEDIA_CustomProductCatalog/m1181499_Chaos_Space_Marines_Datasheet_-_Banelord_of_Khorne.pdf).

The Void Shield is NOT a cover save - it is a special "armour" with a specific armour value. As such, IF you can get the Warhound to count as "obscured" it may take a cover save against any glancing or penetrating hits (see page 62 BRB) including any against the void shield(s)

Also since a void shield is just a type of vehicle armor, it would gain no benefit from Fateweaver

Of course void shields are not a save, I believe it was clear in the OP, but I can make it more clear.

A titan has a 3 void shields. It is hiding behind a building. A guardsman can only see 40% of the titan, fires his lascannon, rolls a 4, and then a 3. He glances the void shield of the titan, removing it. Can the titan claim a cover save for his void shield?

Adamah, you are saying vehicles cannot get coversaves?

Hells no to vehicles not getting cover saves, in your situation then yes, the void shield would get a cover save as long as the firing model is more than 12 inches away.
