Banewolf: hull Multimelta
Scout Sentinel Squadron: 2x Multilaser Sentinels
Demolisher, hull Las Cannon
LRBT, hull Las Cannon
Colossus, hull Heavy Flamer
Basic tactics is to blob the 2nd platoon to absorb damage and just be annoying, other platoon can either be multiple small threats or blobbed in two larger squads, with CCS giving orders. This can be a fairly agressive list with big infantry units advancing together with Demolisher, or gunline, depending on opponent.
The tanks are there to distract and to at least make opposing tanks fear them.
Experience is that lots of opponents tend to make the wrong choice on what is the main threat to them.
Still, the list could still use some fine-tuning with some Dakka help.
What do you think?

The CCS is a right mixed much. You don't want the standard because guard suck in combat, especially a 5 man squad. Having a lascannon in a chimera means it becomes a firing bunker, unable to move and shoot so the grenade lunacher which is half the range cannot hit anything.
In platoon 1 you're mixing short range assault weapons with lnog range heavy weapons, you need to move into range to use that meltagun. You have no transport to get the melta or flamer into range, so means you foot slog so you cannot fire the heavy weapon. Bit of a waste really.
Power weapons on guard are a waste. They don't do a lot of damage.
One bane wolf is a easy target - take tanks in pairs for unit reduandacy and multiple targets. In fact, that goes for all your vehicles because your opponent can prioritse what to take out and then take your army apart via piece meal.

-You're trusting of your men-equipping them with meltaguns. I'd drop them down to Gls/Flamers (especially flamers with the blobbed squad) and make a Vet squad with 3 meltas in a Chimera/Vendetta Well i've got quite a few recommendations so i'll just do a rough list: CCS: Standard, Plasma, LC (line holding, issues orders) -Also possible Creed: More orders + Banewolf outflank (Possibly drop sniper CCS-as cool as they sound) 1 Platoon: PCS: 3/4 flamers + Chimera: Hull HF Squad 1: Autocannon, GL, Commissar Squad 2: Autocannon, GL Squad 3: Autocannon, GL Squad 4: Autocannon, GL 2 Platoon: PCS: 3/4 Flamers + Chimera: Hull HF Squad 1: Flamer, Sarge: PW, Commissar: PW Squad 2: Flamer, Sarge: PW Squad 3: Flamer Squad 4: GL Squad 1: GL Vet Squad: 3 meltas + (Chimera: Hull HF) or (Vendetta) (Banewolf) Demolisher: Hull HF LRMBT: Hull HB, HB Sponsons (Colossus: Hull HB) Both platoons blobbed to protect Heavy Weapons. Demolisher/ Banewolf outflank, Colossus/LRMBT provide fire. If you want/ if you have points i'd upgrade Colossus to LR-Exec with Hull HB + PC Sponsons

Thanks for the advice.
Guess my CCS need some work. The Snipers are in for style, but I may have to rethink that.
On the other CCS, Grenade Launcher will have to go. The Standard stays as I want to control morale with it, I don't count it's effect on combat. I used to play a Lord Commissar to anchor my gunline, but want more CCS goodness instead, so the Standard is a tribute to that past.
Banewolf in pairs sounds good, can't seem to find the points tho. Reserving the single Wolf has been good as a counter to enemy nasties hitting my line.
Good point on Meltagun vs AC in my line squads. They have helped keep my list flexible thru tournaments with either advance-and-Melta or stand-and-shoot depending on opponent. I wonder if this flexibility is worth the potential waste of 10 points tho.
Colonel: Why do you prefer the Flamers over Mg on the big blob? Don't see running into trouble against hordes, tho that might be cause I never ran into true horde with the list.

Because the meltas will miss 50% of the time and its 12" range doesn't exactly give you much time to recover. Flamers don't roll to hit which makes them awesome for lowly BS3 guard...and they rock

I like your list, nice to see some platoons on the ground. 100+ men in 8 scoring units will give people problems with objectives.
You won't miss the GL in 1CCS. It's a nice LC battery, BS4 protected by the chimera. I agree with the standard, as you can measure range from the chimera for a good morale bubble. I for one approve of 2CCS's setup - I've never seen that before and like it for a number of reasons - it's cheap, it gives them the range to be effective from behind your gunline, and provides you with BS4 pinning. Both CCS squads will be effective from behind your line; nice.
In Platoon 1, I would just swap the two grenade launchers for the two meltas, so that you have AC/GL and LC/MG. AC/GL is a really efficient combo, able to handle a range of targets. LC/MG solidifies the squads role as vehicle/heavy infantry killer, with high strength, low AP goodness. Although the short range may make it useless in some situations, I'd rather have it than no special. I just find enemies have a habit of coming close, because I'm trying to outshoot them and they seek the shelter of melee.
AC HWS is great. Keep it near 1CCS for the standard and the orders.
I don't have much experience with different blob configurations yet, so I won't comment on yours except to say it's good you have one to do that job. If you did change to flamers, or if you drop the meltas from Platoon 1, I would max out the weapons in the two PCS's. Why not go with 4 flamers in 1PCS, and 4 GL's in 2PCS? The chimera gets the flamers on target, while the GL's can fire from behind the blob or other infantry. Unless you're purposely keeping the target value down...
Banewolf and Sentinels keep enemy off-balance. Pieplates self-explanatory.
You've got good anti-tank at all ranges, plenty of dakka, a good mix of vehicles, lots of men and scoring units, 4 officers for plenty of orders, and commissars and a standard to help keep it together. Good work.

Hitting only 50% is bad, yes. But 4 Meltas from the same squad means that I will hit what I shoot at with at least some. T3 enemies will die from something like 70-110 lasgun shots anyway.
While I like your list (thx for posting) in terms of troops/tanks mix and style, there is glaring lack of anti tank. Some lists have more LRs than you have AV13-cracking weapons in the list. These are extreme lists of course, but even a regular mech list with bunches of AV12 will be hard to crack. Automatically Appended Next Post: murdog: good to hear that, thx.
CCS Gl goes out, in another Flamer for the Chimera PCS. Can't seem to find points for more PCs special. GLs in the other PCS sounds good, too.
Line Squad configuration will go down to playtesting, hope I can get a few matches in with the list.
