But watch out for those Ice Bergs or those TITANIC chariots might sink Seriously though, if you are gonna take teclis, you HAVE TO take the Banner of Sorcery.

Like everyone else said: If you are fielding Teclis, you should always field Banner of Sorcery. This will give Teclis an average of 10 Power Dice per turn (4 for being a Level 4 Wizard, 2 + D3 (Banner of Sorcery) from the Power Dice Pool, D3 for being Teclis). This allows him to attempt 2 Spells on 5 Power Dice (71% chance to IF) each turn.

Since Teclis his Spells will be cast with IF quite often, most your opponent's Magic Defense will nullify your Level 2 Mages. I would drop them.

Teclis needs a unit to hide in, preferably one that won't Panic and is fairly resilient.

Archers are generally considered to be better Core choices then Spearmen are.

I wouldn't say they're necessarily better but certainly more points-efficient.

@99M -
I would also like to add into the "get Banner of Sorcery" chorus. If you're gonna try for an overwhelming Magic Phase, you may as well REALLY go overwhelming.

I pretty much agree with Airmaniac's assessment of the Teclis build. He's basically going to be doing all the heavy work. You're probably better off with at most a lvl1 Scroll caddy on the side.

You'll really want a PG or WL bunker for Teclis to give him added protection.

Personally, I'd drop the command on the DP's to save some points and avoid points-loss if they end up getting shot up before everything else.

I'd choose a Great Eagle over the Shadow Warriors, but YMMV.
