What about Synapse? What are the new benefits (if there is anything different)?

What about rules for using a Mycetic Spore? I hope they get some kinda "trajectory system" like the Drop Pod uses to basically always lands safely.

What about Synapse?

It doesn't help.

+1 wound on a T4model, mind you.

Yes, but now meltaguns, powerfists, battlecannons and it's ilk are all now far more effective. It balances out a bit.
Waiting for poster to tell me it's unbalanced in 3, 2, 1...

Moreover it appears that wound allocation seems to be gone.
For instance, Carnifexes can be taken in a squad of 1 to 3,
but all those MCs must be equipped equally.
I guess the same holds for the oher bugs.

It loses D3 of them when it shoots, though.... so it evens out. That, and it has to get inside of 6 inches to steal them.....

Things I've gotten other players to admit...

There is a special character model 'The Nemesis of Mala'kant' (english translation missing) that can stack up to 10 wounds.

Some versions I've heard said a Hive Tyrant can steal up to 10 wounds, but the recent iterations have said just back up to his max.

Tyranids are low-ish toughness, high wounds affairs, your enemies are high STR templates of any type.

There is a character zoanathrope that can steal wounds up to 10 with a special attack, it also suffers wounds when it makes an attack.

Hive tyrants can drain but they can't go over the starting number.
