Subject: Scout Squad Loadout?

I'm adding a second scout squad to my Army, (I already have 1 ML+SR squad) and I'm wondering if this is a good combination:
Scout squad: 105 points total.
-2 Shotgun Scouts
-2 CCW/Bolt Pistol Scouts
-1 Scout Sgt. w/ Power Fist and Melta-Bombs
Obviously, an Assault oriented squad. I think the mix of weapons gives it decent shooting phase firepower, and a good number of attacks in the assault phase.
My other question is, do I lose the additional attack from the bolt pistol if I take the Powerfist, (I left my rulebook in NY) and if so, is it valid to take a powerfist and a shotgun?

TBH: I'd stick with a single loadout for them.
So either shotguns or BP + CCW's.
It tends to even its self out anyway, ive been thinking about this for a long time, and either way, they do gain just as much from either layout.
also, the only way to gain the +1 attack from a fist is by having a 2nd fist.

yes you can take the shotgun and powerfist.
Also If they're going to be a close combat unit i would be more inclined to take the combat blade rather then the shot gun.

I go either 10 men with a fist, or 5 with sniper rifles and cloaks to baby sit my objective. If I have the points i'll give the snipers a m.launcher or heavy bolter for some added punch. I think those are really the only two efficient builds for scouts, although I do love the look of the shotgun scouts.

Yeah, I think the shotgun option looks cool, but I'm not going to take it over a bolt pistol and CCW. I'll take the S4 AP5 shooting and the extra S4 attack in HtH. I'm pretty much with Reecius on this one, either go full 10 and a fist for HtH or go snipers, everything else is sub par IMO.
I'll freely admit that I don't use scouts very often these days, so there may be an easter egg build that I'm missing there.

I've been running 5 of them in a Land Speeder Storm.
4 Scouts BP/CCW
Sergeant with a BP/PW, Meltabombs
Storm has a Heavy Flamer
They are a fun shock unit but are very fragile and the more I use them the more I feel I need to outflank them, even when I have first turn (I've had bad luck with people stealing the initiative.)
I have been pretty tempted to test out a Scout Sergeant with 2 Power Fists just for fun but I can't bring myself to put 50 points of wargear on a scout.

Well, I usually take a 10 men Scout unit that can be combat squadded if necessary,
with 5 sniper rifles, 1 missile launcher, and Sergeant with melta bombs.

I run 2 squads in my Crimsom Fist army:
The first has 4 snipers and a heavy bolter
The second has 5 shotguns and 5 knifes and bolt pistols
