I'm just trying out diff lists and i want 2 know what others think of this one.

Your opponent only need to kill 22 warriors and your army will phase out.

That's how it's been with all my other lists..... well not excalty 22 but aroudn there usually and i was wondering if deep striking a monolith and having the nightbringer run up could kill them pretty fast or would it just kill me outright?

The main problem I see with this list is simply: What do you have to DESTROY your enemy? As a Necron player, I can admit that for the most part your warriors will not be doing super high amounts of damage (Not that they're bad, just that they're usually moving to objectives and such, and can't shoot that far while doing so) so you really need other units (Immortals, Destroyers......) that can move AND attack at range, because (with the exception of the monolith) if your army is on the move, you have nothing that can shoot out past 12(!) inches. You'll get ranged to death.

As well, as nice as the nightbringer is, I have to admit that the deciever is a better choice. For 60 LESS points, you get basically the same stats, the ability to run out of combat (remove their charge bonuses, and you can even charge back in next turn!), as well as 2 nice abilities to get units to fall back or be crap in assault, not to mention the ability to redeploy pre-game. That all said, in only 1,500pt games, either C'tan is usually too much of a point sink and phase out sink to be worthwhile (1/5 of your army) and have not much to do outside of assault.

EDIT: Oh also, do you have an idea of what armies you usually go against? And are they really competitive players, or more casual?

Ya i've been told alot of Deceiver being better but havnt tried but ii will to see how he goes and ill verse I.G. and SM and then should i switch out a squad of warriors for destroyers?

If you're gonna run that style list then you may as well go full throttle: Stonehenge Star God = Deceiver and 2 Monos
