How well would Zagstruk and Snikrot work in a horde style ork list?

They both could be usefull seperately to take out specific targets while the main block of boys was lead by ghazzy/warboss/mek with KFF/warphead but together i would say its a bad idea.

Ran them at 'ard boyz finals, and had a good time with them. If you're talking about a pure horde list, with no vehicles, then being able to bring two units into the fight without trudging across the board can be quite useful.

I think Zag isn't as good as just running a big mob of stormboyz, mostly as he doesn't have a klaw after first round of combat, but, if you luck up on your deep strike, charging with him can be quite nice.

At anything less than 2k pts, I'd steer clear of Zag. Snikrot, OTOH, is almost an auto-buy for anything over 1k.

Whatever you do, don't take the one with an armor save of 6+.
