This should probably be in the painting and modeling section. Also, please take the time to use proper capitalization and punctuation in your posts - it makes things easier for everyone.

As for the actual painting? I've seen worse. I've also seen far, far better. Having an all-metallic scheme is just really tacky. I didn't see much in the way of highlighting or shading. Get some washes and try them out.

A gallery works a whole lot better than a youtube video, for one thing. Putting a little more effort into learning to shade, highlight, and drybrush would certainly not be time wasted. The lightning claw guy seemed to have way too many plain colors, especially on stuff that would look better with simple drybrushing, like the fur, skull, and claws. The ork didn't look bad, except for things like the teeth that seemed brigh and solid.

Just out of curiosity, why wouldn't you think that the painting forum would be the best place to put this?

in response to bookwrack i am looking into these techniques now i am a bit late to the game lol.
