Cant wait to check it out. Though you need to get it so that if you type in Warhammer or 40K you pop up or change your logo. I was looking for a new good podcast and honestly I skipped over your logo because it had no ties to 40k so I thought it was for something else. Thanks!!

I havent listened but I love codex reviews and tactics. It lets me not only understand my army but other armies better for tournments.

Your Logo that looks like a penny, that is. All I am saying is if its about 40k I would but something on it that ties it into the 40k universe. Possibly an imperial eagle crest that is all over GW products. I think its called an aquilla or something like that. I am still downloading and cant wait to listen. What type of show do you want it to be? Do you have a format or schedule?

I'll get some 40K stuff on there. Should help a bit. Thank-you for that.

First and foremost, the podcast is going to be 40K tactics and strategies all the time. So, you are going to hear very little else other than straight up 40K talk be it about strategies, army lists, tips for playing the game, codex overviews, and what not. I think in episode one, of the 1hr and 36 minutes, 2 minutes are used to introduce our podcast, talk about our game club and game experience, and otherwise, it's all 40k.

There's a bunch of GREAT podcasts out there already which will give you the skinny on news, upcoming events, painting/hobby stuff, and other 40k related material. We thought we could give back to the podcast community by creating one which focused just on playing the game better. This by no means is stating that we are catering to some kind of hard core gaming crowd. We're actually very friendly people who love to learn about and teach others how to play 40K.

We are scheduling a new episode each week to be somewhere between 1-2 hours. All episodes are done in segments. Right now segments for Episode 1 and 2 are:

1) This week in gaming - discuss our gaming each week, games we played, what happened, etc.
2) Weekly Tips (lost pages of the codex astartes) - 3 tips each week on how to better play
3) Codex Countdown - Starting with the Necrons in Episode 1
4) Startegy Muse - Conversations about ways to look at the game from a strategy or tactics point of view. This segment is in episode 2 and deals with how to look at units and armies in terms of making a game plan.
5) List Review (segment untitled) - This will be in Episode 2. We are going to sit down our entire gaming club and talk about favorite lists. This is going to be a fun segment because you will get to hear about the list from the player, but you will also get to hear about the list from the perspective of opponent's who have played against it.

We're still working on segments for Episode 3, but it will certainly contain more tips for the week, probably another segment in Codex Countdown, and whatever else comes across the table between now and then.

Feel free to leave us any feedback either by e-mail or on our forums. We look forward to feedback and buildling an awesome podcast community.

Hey the format looks great. I would also recommend a section called "Obscure Rules and FAQ's". This would bring up random little known facts about 40k and or codex's and FAQ ruling. For example. Did you know that if roll a hits on follow on multiple barrage rolls that you can place the template on any of the already template and it just has to touch any part of it.

The implications on that are you can walk rounds back towards your target if you have a bad scatter on the first die and you can cover tons of models because it doenst have to touch the edge but ANY part of the template.

The list goes on and on. Just pull an obscure rule/FAQ talk about it and how it can have a large impact in the game.

Also, when you cover a codex make sure you cover the FAQ's with that codex as it will help gamers undrstand situations better.

I think it looks great!!

I very much like the idea. We might roll that in for Episode 3.

Also a good idea on the FAQs. Thanks for the feedback.
