Subject: The New Nid Spore pod versus getting tank shocked.

Bounding Assault Marine

Hello all, I don't have the actual rulebook for the new nidz to throw up here so forgive my vagueness. I am to understand that the new nidz have 'spore pods'? That also count as being immobile/just unable to move and are also monstrous creatures with 6 wounds?
Simply put-- what happens when you run over them?
Are they fearless instantly and autopass the morale? If so... how can they move out of the way when they CAN'T move? Are they stuck with just doing death or glory and hoping for a good result lest they be made squish-ed instantly?
What's the what on this one dakkites?

They are fearless, and therefore can elect to DoG or "Be moved" out ofc the way.
They are prevented from *moving*, not from *being moved* - so can still be moved out of the way.

There was a fairly exhaustive thread on the subject here.

Yeah its the 'be' that is the key, as explained in the other thread. The spore says it can't move meaning it cant move by it's own will, but Tank shock says that the model is moved meaning it is moved against it's will.

Yeah otherwise I could just plan to start landing monoliths on them or other things that can't move.
While that would be greatly amusing-- it would also be BS.
