many the Tau Empire are much better than the tyranids because you get more stuff for you points like with mids best weapon costs 45 pts and with the tau the Cyclone Ion Blaster is 15 pts and you get more equipment from an armoury when with the tyranids they just suddenly grow weapons from their arms because they are that creepy and tau have to earn their weapons through things like the trial by fire

What's wrong with the comma and period keys on your keyboard?

Drones in FW squads while no shield drones for XV88...

XV88 are uber long range units and have twin linked weps so they dont need drones DOI!

A best joke today. Are you used to be a TAU player?

When you opponent deepstrike at 3 inches away from you, could the 72 inches range of railgun make anything different?

That is an obivous reason why shield drones be more expensive on XV88s————this unit is more valueable, so need more points to protect it.

DUDE, i have been playing tau for 7 yrs and i alway deepstrike them near the closest table edge so that you can instantly shoot giving the enemy the fright of their life and they would have no chance to get an assault with out losing 1/2 their force

Tau are unfortunatley the weakest army in 40k at the moment by some distance. Heck the SMs have as many HQ choices as Tau have choices!!!

This army is a bit of a mess. For a start the Shas'el is highly illegal with 5 battlesuit systems. Then you've given him 2 gun drones?!??! And no bonding knife so when those drones get blown he fails his break test and he's done... Can't even attempt to regroup!

You've got hard-wired systems on your crisis teams which they are not allowed.

Your troops have pulse carbines in with pulse rifles a totally fail mix. One squda has 1 photon grenade which a) makes the army weaker and b) is against the rules. The entire squad or no-one has to take it.

Broadsides have the rather points less plasma rifles and are illegal as they have no battlesuit support system and are made of fail becuase they don't have ASS or shield drones. Their range does not change the board size. On a 6'x4' table a SM player can assault every single corner in turn 1. Or they can just dp meltaguns next to your suits for instant death fun. Broadsides can't DS.

You don't seem to know any of the rules for building or using Tau armies at all so I have to question whether you've actually ever played them or even 40K at all.

Sisters next (after blood angels of copurse) codex is off the shelves and the models are starting to disappear from the online store...

After that probably Necrons.

As already explained this is neither true nor how it works. The sisters codex is older than the current Tau Codex. The sisters codex has been removed from GW shop shelves and the boxed sets are starting to be removed from the online store. This means they are eitgher getting rid of the sisters (hugely unlikely) or they are giving them a new codex very soon. Just like they removed eth Blood Angels codex and boxed sets before releasing them same for SW, Nids and every other army book they've ever done. Notice how the Tau are still on the shelves.

No way are they getting a new codex before the Sisters. Granted Tau need one and the Sisters will be ruined by the new codex but that is what is happening.

Actually it might be distinctly possible that the Tau get a codex before the SoB or any of the Inquisition factions.

.. but that is, of course, irrelevant to this particular thread.

Which is, being on a public forum, open to any and all members to comment on, subject to the usual posting rules of Dakka.

What is your reasoning? Given that we know that the Sisters of Battle codex has been removed from the GW store shelves and that eth sisters boxed set has been removed from the online store. Why would they do this if the sisters are not getting the next book?
