Hi guyz...
Ok so, i have been noticeing that a lot of people are doing very unqiue/personilized armys... And so it got me thinking: Hey, my orkz just look like just thrown together from the set, no fun at all.... So i have been trying and trying to think of some stuff that i could do that would make my orks stand out a bit more, but i can't think of anything.

So, thats why i hate to ask this... Can anybody give me any ideas on what to do to custimize my orks? THey are evil sunz, that will be mostly revoloving around trukks... I will take any advice you guyz have...

Come up with a theme of some sort.

Maybe there's lot of toof motifs so you're vehicles might look extra spiky.

Maybe go and make a Bad Moons clan with all their trappings.

Maybe you're orks are crazy for cybernetics so you'll have lots of metal legs, arms, or even heads!

Thing of something (a motif, a color, etc) that can repeat across your units and vehicles.

What i find is that truely great customised armies are a result of a passion for the twist or a bolt of inspiration so i ask you, what interests you that you believe can be applied to trukker orks? i also ask you to look around the web for images of various vehicles and to watch any postapocolyptic or dystopian films with vehicles in for inspiration.

Have them all wearing trucker hats, cut-off flannel t-shirts and have one tanned arm from hanging it out the window

The old orc fantasy shield had an evil sun shield boss. I you can get hold of even one, you could make greenstuff casts to add on vehicles, armour plates... etc.

Other then that: choose a theme, bikers, truckers, base it on need for speed games,... whatever triggers your imagination on lots of possible conversions. Watch a few movies like Mad max or salute to the jugger, they might help.

Well, as for the road warrior movie (mad max) i was looking at em... But i was thinking about doing the trucker caps since they all seem to have em...
Also, i will probably be useing the evil sunz "blood god" face from the warbuggie as my mold, but if somebody is willing to trade me a WHF evil sunz thingy, i would take it =D

Well, being as i live in the Mountains of Pennsylvania now, and used to live way way south, i am a fan of Nascar. So orks love speed... nascar loves speed... why not doa Redneck version of orks.. each truck is painted as a different nascar, and the ebst thing.. the decales for those things would fit just about perfect 1/24th scale and almost any model shop has a Decals bin full of old nascar sheets. -shrugs- just a idea

PIMP YOUR TRUKKS!

Put absurd spoilers on them, make it look like there are HUGE speakers in the back end, try to make spinners for them, anything you can think of!

Instead of the orks being the centerpiece, make the trukks the beauties!

and use SM decals as your sponser stickers!!

lower the trukks.....put numbers just like nascar

paint the boys like they are all wearing nascar driver uniforms...................no wait...........make them..............NASCAR TAILGATERS!!!!!!!!!!

now that would be a wild bunch

deck all the trukks like the RVS in nascar
battel waggons as hughe sponser trucks

man you could go on forever with a nascar theme!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
