Thinking about maybe investing in some of these for a traitor guard list I want to slowly build up. Was wondering though :
When it fires, each missile generates d3 5" blast templates. How are3 the affects of these resolved :
Is it done like a standard squad shooting multiple blast markers ( eg place one done, resolve any scatter, count hits, remove, repeat ) or is it done like a barrage (ie place 1 template done, resolve the location of the initial marker and then determine the position of any other templates off of that one with the scatter dice.
I've only seen the vehicle played twice, each player resolving the shots in different ways.

The poor man really has a stake in the country. The rich man hasn't; he can go away to New Guinea in a yacht. The poor have sometimes objected to being governed badly; the rich have always objected to being governed at all

Each shot is resovled differently. Some where under multiple barrages in the rule book it says what happens if a unit fires multiple barrage shots.

From memory it is not resolved as a multiple barrage, as they deal with multiple barage shots from different members (or weapons) within the unit.
So you eithe rplay it solid RAW, whcih is each shot scattered and resolved seperately, or you play it as a pseudo-multi barrage with each shot scattered off the first.

By strict rules as written multiple barrage rules come into effect when you are shooting more than one barrage weapon, and the storm eagle rockets are a one weapon. I'm not terribly comfortable with that interpretation but there it is.

By RAW it follows the barrage rules, however, the multiple barrage rules only kick in when multiple weapons are firing, which is not the case with the manticore.
So since the barrage rules are based off the blast rules, and there is no special exception which covers the manticore, you would by RAW resolve it just like any other blast weapon that fires multiple shots, of course you would cause pinning and not require LOS etc still.
That being said, I think it's fairly common for people to play that you still follow the Multiple Barrage rules, despite the RAW clearly supporting the idea that you would resolved it as multiple distinct blasts, each resolving it's own scatter with earlier shots having no bearing on said scatter.

Interceptor Drones can disembark at any point during the Sun Shark's move (even though models cannot normally disembark from Zooming Flyers).

That's how you are "supposed" to resolve it, but the rules don't support it.
