What is wrong with the gallery vote system? It seems as though no matter how many votes you have it reads - "more votes needed".
Did I miss something??

Also I am a firm believer if you look at an image vote on it, I love the feedback and it really challenges me to improve my painting.

Take a look through the Nuts and Bolts section of the forum. Basically you now need 5 votes before they start counting them. This was done to negate the bad votes recieved. Also this should be posted in that section.

I agree. No problem about the jerk thing everyone makes mistakes about posting in the right section.

I've just finished a cool feature to make up for hiding votes that will show you a list of everyone who has voted on your image. It will not be live for a few weeks as I am working on other related stuff at the moment, but basically, any image that gets votes, you can click on the vote total to load a list of usernames, links to their galleries (so you can reciprocate voting if you are so inclined), and if it is an anonymous user who voted, a picture of their flag.

It is quite neat once images get a few dozen votes as you see a nice array of flags from around the world attached to your image.

Note, voting scores are not shown as per a close-run discussion held here on dakka a while ago.

Seeing a list of users who voted on the image sounds like a very cool feature
