Here is information on the next live auction at Showcase Comics. I'll be putting up the rest of the listings over the coming week, as they get processed. This is a live, no bid auction. I put the listing here primarily for folks that might want to drive up for the day. I can take silent bids for mail order, but cannot take pictures or do better descriptions, as the lots get bagged and tagged, and tossed into large boxes as we process them. If you want to put in a silent bid, send me a PM with lot# and amount you want to bid. If you win, I'll contact you. Most items go for a fraction of the cost they sell for originally, depending on condition and demand.

Here are the first 300 listings for our next aution. This is a live auction, with no minimum bid, and everything sells. (Usually quite cheap!) It's a good place to pick up bargains and bits.

How it works: People turn in items to me up to 1 week before the auction. I bag and tag them, and put them in the auction listing. Day of the auction each person gets a list of items and a bidder number. I shout and scream for four hours or so and auction off 300-400 bags of miniatures, scenery, bitz bags, and what ever else gets turned in. High bidder buys his stuff, and takes it home. People that put stuff in the auction get that much in store credit. So buy some bargains, or dump your junk and take home new stuff!

The auction is Sunday, April 18th, at Showcase Comics in the Granite Run Mall, in Media, PA. Preview starts at 11:00 am, and bidding at noon.

Yep, shipping is no problem. If you win, I'll contact you, figure out exact shipping and how you want it sent out. One note, I have zero time to make it to a postoffice to fill out customs forms, so I only ship inside the US.

Just a quick report on how the auction went.
I was there today, showed up a little late but stayed till the end.
I had a great time, Mike is pretty funny as an auctioneer and there was some great stuff.
After I got home I tallied up what I got and figure that if i was to buy everything new at GW i would have spent somewhere around $350.
I paid $136!
So it was well worth it. I would recommend to anyone that if they can get to these events, they should, there was something there for everyone.

I hope I got some things I sent in bids for!

Argh, I missed it! Couldn't swing going to the tourney and the auction in the same weekend. Hopefully I'll make the next one (assuming you're not burned out on it yet, and will be hosting another one eventually!)

Me and my roommate made it down again and as usual, it was totally worth it. Got some great stuff, had a great time, and I can't wait for the next one.

Oh noes. I don't know if I won anything I bidded on. X_X
