I am not the expert on WE especially forest spirit, so take my advice with a grain of salt.

I am not sure how often the Asyendi's Bane and Hagbane trick will be needed, definitely good against low toughness and armor save armies but how many would you be playing against. I think 2x dispel scrolls would be better.

I think you might find 7 wild riders to be a little hard to manuever, so you could drop one from two of those units to fit your spellsinger and noble into the units.

That would free up points to make your branchwraith a level one wizard.

If you are getting rid of your bow and arrow from your singer, I would drop the springtime banner too.

I would also drop the dragontooth arrows from the noble and I think you would have enough points now to make your singer a level 2.

Granted you are still doubtful to cast any magic at 2.5k points. But I think one of the downfalls to the forest spirit army is that ward save isn't good against magical attacks.

Any that is my advice. Hopefully RiTides looks at the list since he has more experience with forest spirit armies.

Wow, cool . I log on and the top army list on the page is a forest spirit one! That's what I run, too

Boogeyman has some good points- the equipment on your characters is a little bit ineffective, especially on the spellsinger. She has a worse BS than a noble, so the bow and arrows don't suit her too well. She'd be best off taking an arcane item (such as calaignor's stave) and a dispel scroll.

Your Treeman Ancient can take multiple spites, so he can take the Cluster of Radiants. It's safer on him than on your branchwraith.

The wildrider noble could really use the Dawnspear instead of the Spear of Twilight- only 5 points more, and it will help protect your fragile wildriders from being hit back.

Overall, I think it looks pretty good- very one-sided, but that's how forest spirit armies have to be. Mine is similar, but with one less unit of dryads, and a second unit of treekin instead of your third unit of wildriders. It's done well for me so far! There will be games where you have no good chance, but most of the time you'll compete.

The main thing is your characters... the changes above would help a lot. And even though you're light on magic, it's worth trying for it- you've got 3 bound treesinging spells from your ancient and treeman. If you take the stave on the spellsinger, she can cast it twice more (if she's a level 2). And if you upgrade the branchwraith to a level 1 wizard (perhaps by dropping the banners of springtide and zenith, which are not really needed) it can cast it once as well. One of them's bound to go off, unless your opponent is throwing 2 dice at each (very unlikely) which might be all you need to block the progress of an enemy unit, or protect one of your own, with a moving forest .

I just noticed that your spellsinger is not a level 2! I would upgrade her... perhaps to get the points for that and the branchwraith's upgrade/equipment, you could drop a unit of dryads.

Let me know your thoughts, and I can suggest a possible list wiht some of these changes if that's helpful . But your overall looks good once the characters are straightened out!

Looking good. I would drop the talisman of protection on your noble since he already has talismanic tattoos. I would probably use the points to put a nymph in with the unit of dryads that also has your branch wraith in it.

The heroes are definitely better, but since he's a forest spirit the noble doesn't need talisman of protection- he already has a 5+ ward save against everything but magical attacks.

Dropping that gives you 15 points. I would also drop the Befuddlement of Mischiefs, I've tried it and it hasn't done very well for me, but I love Murder of Spites on a branchwraith like you have there . So that's another 25 points, so 41 total, counting the point you'd had leftover earlier.

I'd use 36 of that to give standard bearers back to the two units of wildriders that lost them- they really need these! The magic standards aren't as important, but the +1 to combat res (+2 with the warbanner unit) is vital!

That leaves you 5 points leftover, I'll have to think about it...
