Again,I was reading the codex and came up with more questions,

1.In the codex,it states that the defend power for the dire avenger,decrease the attacks of the opponent by1 each assualt phase,does that mean a 3 attack hero only get 1 attack after 2 rounds of combat?

2.The scorpians's claw is a power claw,and scorpian's chainsword adds one to the model's strength,does it mean I add the stregth first and then double?Or just double +1?On the book it says add 1 to the models str,yes thats what it says

3.Tactical question,what is the best why to kill a trygon with dire avengers?

I didn't know you could kill a Trygon with Dire Avengers. Is it T5? Cast Doom. Otherwise Reapers.

Yes, and the questions. -1 A each time. So 3 attacks are 2 Attacks.

I don't think they stack anymore, S6 claw (boo).

so first round,2 attacks,second round,1 attack?

Always, every round, -1 attack. So say if they have three attacks and they charge for +1 they get three attacks that round. Next round they only have three attacks so two attacks. Basically every round just -1 attack. But ONLY -1 no accumulation.

Yeah the Scorpion's claw actually used to be really good. S8 + Exarch was +1 S so S9 and you could put a Witchblade Farseer in there too + Haywire grenades on the squad. Go hunt Dreads. Scorps are just for fun now. But what fun!

Its -1 on the number of attacks the enemy gets that round. It does not stack over time.

Don't think you can have both anyway, but they don't stack. Either S4 for Chainsword or S6 I1 Ignore saves for Claw

3.Tactical question,what is the best why to kill a trygon with dire avengers?

Tacitcal answer - there is no good way, so stop trying and use a unit that is designed to kill tougher stuff. Idealy you want either BL/EML spam, SCannon/SLaser spam + Doom or Seer Council, fortuned and Enhanced up, assaulting it.
