As long as I have faith points, can I try, try, and try again to use certain powers, just using a faith point each time?

If I try Spirit of the Martyr and fail, it's still "start of the phase" and I still have points.... why not just try again?

The Acts of Faith rules specifically say "A unit may not attempt to use the same Act of Faith more than once per phase"
