Ok everyone, so I recenetly started Hordes and went with everblight... Before even getting models, I realized that... wow... I am using tremendously less models in the game compared to GW games... So basically, I decided that since I am using so few models (7 models in my current 35pt list) I would try to paint them to the BEST of my capabilities... trying to excede my average table top paint schemes...

Since I am currently not the best painter there is, I got a friend of mine to help come up with an awsome paint scheme and who will also guide me through some techniques and what not...

The Color Sheme

Carapace/Scales- These type areas are basically going to be an ashy black, with a lava effect (similar to the one seen on GWs WoC Juggernaught) throughout all of the cracks.
Skin- Skin will most likely be a darker shade of red although this isnt completely decided.
Armor- Where there is armor on various models, it will almost definitely be gold.
Cloth- All clothing type areas will be black.
Base- The basics as you can tell are all going to be somewhat scenic and once completed the models while have a snowy region type basing.
(Its probably odvious that I like Khorne colors!)

Anyways, I dont think I will get to start painting any of the guys for a week or two, as I still have some other projects to finish up, but here are some pictures of the models all assembled (not including some various pieces to allow for ease of painting) and ready to go!

Full army pic:

Epic Thagrosh:

Carnivean #1: (This is quite possibly my favorite model as far as the pose goes... although it is top heavy currently)

Carnivean #2:

Both Carniveans:

Typhon: ( Sorry for lack of view on this guy but the other side didnt have much to show as I had to keep some pieces of for painting purposes)

I didnt bother doing close ups of the Shepherds and Forsaken as its too hard to catch any detail on them before they are at least primed!

C&C always welcome and any suggestions are very appreciated!

The carniveans look like they are about to fall flat on their faces...

The other models look sweet though and the paintscheme sounds amazing if you can pull it off.
