Just putting this here, as the banner adds at the top of the dakka site are not loading but instead a DakkaDakka will be back soon message. Now I have checked all my settings in my profile and the adds are enabled, I have cleared my browser history and still they aren't working.

FYI, one of the added bonuses of having ever been a DCM is that if you leave your ads disabled, they remain so after your DCM stat expires! Huzzah!

You happened to be online when I restarted the server yesterday, so the ad page has been cached with the be back soon page. This is just a temporary thing that will sort itself out and is limited to your machine.

Yay im special. Its all good now. I like the adds there, specially when I have spare money. They are a part of dakka and help keep it running, I like having them there, just an aesthetics thing and shopping when I have money.
