I haven't got a copy of this but I recall flicking through and seeing rules for sea battles and the like. What other radical things were in it? Did anyone here try these rules and have to got pictures of a 28mm Man o War style game? I'd be quite keen to see anythign of the sort, I'm currently painting up some Zombie Pirates and was going to make a ship to go with them.

I played the system back when the Compendium first came out. System is a bit rough around the edges, but could be made to work in a friendly environment. To get the true feeling of a sailing game, you really need 3-4 ships per side and playing field of 10x20 feet (or more). If your going with 1 ship - your best just docking the two ships together and playing it as a scenario.

Funny, in the new GW video for 8th edition (on youtube you can find it by them) they have dark elf cruisers in "water", very nicely sculpted.

Possibly a return of Man o' War is planned

I assumed that was just for the montage. i.e. "Cool scene with Dark Elves invading Ulthuan! (Again!)"

“It was in lands of the Chi-An where she finally ran him to ground. There she kissed him deeply as he lay dying, and so stole from him his last, agonized breath.

On a delicate chain at her throat, she keeps it with her to this day.”
