There are many real downsides to this list.
1. Nothing is scoring, so you can't hold any objectives. What this means is that n 66% of your games, you have to table your opponent, which is not easy to do.
2. You spend 500 points on a unit that always rages (which means it can be lead around rather easily by throw away units) and suffer the moment an IG player puts a Russ on the table. Also, the unit has absolutely no answer to tanks.
3. Your anti-tank is tied up in one unit that can be easily shaken.
Now, if you want a crazy Astorath list at 1000 points, how about this:
Astorath the Grim = 220
8 Death Company w/ Jump Packs, 1 Infernus Pistol, 2 Power Weapons, Thunderhammer = 350
5-man Assault Squad w/o Jump Packs w/ Meltagun, Sergent w/ Power Weapon in Razorback w/ Twin-linked Heavy Flamer = 145
5-man Assault Squad w/o Jump Packs w/ Meltagun, Sergent w/ Power Weapon in Razorback w/ Twin-linked Heavy Flamer = 145
Death Company Dreadnought w/ Meltagun, Heavy Flamer, Blood Talons = 135
Everybody has a duality in roles, you still have a crazy Death Company Squad that should be able to take out most things at that points level, and you have a very strong possibility of your assault squads also having furious charge.
